Our History
Established in 2005 based on the vision of creating an extraordinary championship golf facility for the Kingdom of Thailand, the Amata Spring’s rise to prominence has been complemented by hosting many notable professional events. The property’s infrastructure was strategically designed to test the games of the world’s best around its distinct design. This unique oasis just out Bangkok has become one of the most revered clubs in Asia.
Golf
Amata Spring Country Club was established in 2005 with the vision of creating the Kingdom of Thailand’s first world class, private members golf club.
Renowned golf course architect Lee Schmidt from Schmidt-Curley Design designed the tournament standard layout which has been awarded numerous accolades including Thailand’s Best Golf Course.
Routing takes players through a varied array of distinctive holes requiring a full range of thoughtful shot making. The signature hole is the famous 17th, a daunting and memorable par three featuring the Asia’s only floating island green which is only accessible by boat.
Amata prides itself on peerless course conditions with perfectly manicured tee-to-green surfaces, and has hosted numerous international professional events with no fewer than 20 major winners facing the challenges of the testing 7500 yard course.

Amata Spring Country Club offers an unparalleled array of facilities, from first class dining and private meeting and event spaces, to exceptional practice areas.
The magnificent Mediterranean-style clubhouse, perched above the 18th hole, is the hub of the club’s exceptional offerings, housing two international class restaurants with outdoor terraces; private dining rooms; meeting rooms; a lobby bar; and Pro Shop.
Our Spa offers traditional Thai, Aromatherapy and Sports massage 7 days a week with a nearby pool for unwinding.
Our practice facilities are the finest in the Kingdom. The range has course quality grass tees and floodlights for evening sessions. It is complimented by an expansive putting and chipping area and an adjacent 120 yard, 5 green, short game area.
Restaurants
El Niño restaurant is a stylish all-day cafe that serves both premium Asian and international specialities by buffet lunch and a-la carte menu. The great atmosphere of the location is enhanced by the quality of the food and the best in international service standards.
Diciotto Italian restaurant is where to get authentic traditional Italian cuisine . Sample the atmosphere and take in the breathtaking views from the terrace offering panoramic views of the championship golf course. Enjoy a cool drink or a Cuban cigar and watch the sunset while you relax and sample our first class service.
Golf Villas
The Amata Spring Golf Villas provide an exclusive, private country club living experience in Thailand’s only integrated golf course community.
The gated community offers idyllic homes for short term stays or residency where residents can enjoy our “Par-Excellence” lifestyle supported by our onsite staff.
The homes are designed in a Palm Springs style with open plan kitchens and three en suite bedrooms. All units include a large patio overlooking the golf course providing the perfect space to entertain. A pool, lounge and gym are afforded exclusively to residents at the Golf Villas Club House, and the rest of Amata Spring’s expansive facilities lie less than a five-minute walk away.
